The 10 Most Dangerous Intersections for Pedestrians in Salt Lake and Utah Counties

Walking can be risky business, according to the organization Zero Fatalities, which compiled a list of the 10 intersections in Salt Lake and Utah counties with the most auto-pedestrian crashes from 2010 to 2016.

Among these 10 intersections — all of them in Salt Lake County but scattered among the towns — 100 pedestrians have been hit, although the wrecks have not always resulted in serious injury.

All but one of these intersections have a traffic signal. They are listed here in order of number of pedestrian crashes, from most to least.

1. 4100 South and Redwood Road, on the border of West Valley City and Taylorsville, 13 crashes
